The cost of living and poverty impact education the most. Why can't we fully fund public education?
@marrs_edward Capitalism requires exploitation and educated people tend to be more difficult to exploit. If children need proper educating, they'll be born into wealthy families that can afford private school.
@105Mittens @marrs_edward Only the State can Exploit someone. There is no other entity that has the power to force you to do something against your will. This is the reason people that believe in freedom believe that the State should not be in charge of Education.
@501cupcake @105Mittens Businesses are exploiting people right now. What about people who cannot afford privatized for profit education?
@marrs_edward @501cupcake They are but more exploitation will increase profits and that is the goal. People who can't afford education will probably be ground down by poverty and die prematurely, but that is of no concern to capitalists in the short run, as long as there is cheap labor.
@105Mittens @marrs_edward If Education was privatized and there was a family in your area that couldn't afford to send the child to school do you think that the community would step up an help out or do you think they would just let the kid suffer?
